Ice Bike Races in Minnesota
The Minnesota Human Powered Vehicle Association MnHPV hosts an annual Ice Bike Race. Yes, biking on a frozen lake. Bizarre but true. Pictures to prove it.

The MnHPVA has been hosting Human Powered Ice Vehicle World Speed Championships in late January since 1991and draw riders from as far away as South Carolina. After a decade on White Bear Lake, they moved to South Center Lake, in Lindstrom MN. The 2004 event was held on Rogers Lake in Mendota Heights MN with the help of St. Thomas Academy.

See our photo album picture of ice races with Quadribent biking on frozen lake.
